Jalee is a world in Meon Cluster that merges with Sfal. The merge with Jalee is actually just slightly further away from Marka-na-Sfal than Varokka. Its surface is 3.5 times bigger than that of Earth, but the merge is surrounded by a giant salt plain that covers the surface comparable to the entire Eurasia. It’s one of the reasons Jalee was never permanently settled. Another is the climate: there are no days, nights, or seasons, the sky is entirely permeable to the light of Vhalfr, making it unbearably bright, with temperatures around 40°C. However, people come here to gather the salts that are then moved to Sfal for processing. Some salts are used for cooking–these get largely sent to to Varokka and used for making mushroom sauce. Others are used in magic or industry and they get sent to Marka-na-Sfal, Kooine, or Hahn Zahta.
Models made with magic show that the salt plain is actually elevated above the rest of the surface. Magical visions showed forests of giant sponge-like zoophytes, surrounded by turquoise moss and fed by the droppings of multiple flying insects inhabiting their pores, but no one ever saw them up close.
